HARRISONBURG, Va. – It was announced earlier this summer that former Penn State Harrisburg assistant Kyle Dickinson has been named associate coach of the men's and women's cross country and track & field programs at Eastern Mennonite University.

After three years as Penn State Harrisburg's top assistant under head coach Danielle Lynch, Dickinson recently joined the EMU staff under head coach Bob Hepler.

While at Penn State Harrisburg, Dickinson helped elevate the track & field program to new heights, working directly with all-Americans Sarah Lehman and Rae Rae Taylor, as well as two-time NCAA Championship-qualifier Alex White. Thanks to Dickinson's guidance, Lehman earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Regional Athlete of the Year recognition, while both Taylor and White were named conference athletes of the year. During his tenure, the program saw Cameron Yon win the school's first national championship, while track & field athletes racked up a combined five all-America accolades, 16 NCAA Championship qualifications, a pair of regional athlete of the year honors, nine conference major awards, and 19 conference championships.

Prior to joining the Blue & White, The Harrisburg, Pa. native oversaw four all-Americans as an assistant coach at Division II Shippensburg; his alma mater. Dickinson was a standout long and triple jumper during his collegiate career at SU before graduating in 2014.
