NEW ORLEANS – Six Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's track & field athletes have earned a total of 11 NCAA Division III All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Jalil Clayton, Dominick Hogans, Sarah Lehman, Rae Rae Taylor, Alex White and Cameron Yon each picked up USTFCCCA All-Region recognition thanks to their outstanding efforts this spring.

Clayton was the top performer in the region in the 110m hurdles and also clinched all-region recognition in the 400m hurdles. The senior shared Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Outdoor Men's Co-Athlete of the Year honors with Yon after winning conference titles in both hurdle events. He also secured Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Outdoor Men's Most Outstanding Performer (MOP) honors after winning ECAC Championships in the two events.

Hogans turned in a breakout freshman campaign in 2019 and was named the CAC Outdoor Men's Rookie of the Year for his efforts. His all-region accolade comes in the 200m dash after he set a new school record in the event with a time of 21.68 seconds en route to winning a conference title in the event at the CAC Championship event earlier this month.

Yon was pegged the CAC Outdoor Men's Co-Athlete of the Year along with Clayton thanks to setting a new conference championships and facility record when he won gold in the discus throw with a toss of 54.45 meters. His longest throw of 56.27 meters this spring is tops in the nation and stands as a CAC record. He added an ECAC Championship in the event last weekend and was twice named the CAC Field Athlete of the Week this spring. The senior also added all-region recognition in the hammer throw.

White's all-region accolade comes in the long jump after the junior recorded a top mark of 7.25 meters at the Shippensburg Invite in mid-April. His best effort currently ranks 13th in the nation and tops in the CAC. He won a CAC Championship in the event two weeks ago.

Lehman added another triple jump all-region honor to her impressive resume. The sophomore's top leap of the spring was a bound of 11.77 meters at the Shippensburg Invite in April. That effort currently ranks her 20th in the country. She won gold in the event at the CAC Championships earlier this month.

Taylor secured all-region recognition in an impressive four events, including the heptathlon, high jump, long jump and triple jump. The sophomore won a pair of silver medals in the high and triple jump events at the CAC Championships after posting a score of 4,550 points in the heptathlon at Kutztown's Mondschein Multi in mid-April; a mark good enough to rank 16th among NCAA Division III competitors.

The top-five performers in each event from each region earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-three ranked relay teams. A total of 1,915 honors were handed out to athletes from USTFCCCA member institutions, which included a near-even split between men's (951) and women's programs (964).

Clayton, Lehman, Taylor, White and Yon will compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 23-25 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Clayton will compete in both the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles, White qualified for the long jump and Yon holds the top seed in the discus throw. Lehman qualified for the triple jump, while Taylor will compete in the heptathlon.
