FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Thanks to her strong performance at the 37th Millersville Metrics on Saturday, April 6, Penn State Harrisburg athlete Rae Rae Taylor has been named the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Taylor's versatility was on display at Millersville on Saturday, April 6. The sophomore earned a top-five finish in the high jump with a leap of 1.58 meters and was the highest-finishing NCAA Division III athlete in the long jump thanks to a bound of 5.25 meters. Both marks are tops among CAC competitors this season. On the track, she also posted a new program record in the 200m dash thanks to her time of 26.26 seconds.

The Lions return to action when they travel to Kutztown for the first day of the Mondschein Multi beginning on Thursday, April 11.
