WESTMINSTER, Md. - Penn State Harrisburg women's soccer dropped a 1-0 decision to non-conference opponent McDaniel on Wednesday night, Sep. 18.

The Green Terror (4-1-1) scored the lone goal of the night just 24 minutes into the match, as Gabriella Piantadosi found the back of the net off a home team corner kick. McDaniel kept pressuring the Lions throughout the rest of the first half and forced Penn State Harrisburg goalkeeper to make two more saves before halftime.

Penn State Harrisburg (2-3-2) had only one shot on goal in 90 minutes of play which was an attempt from Sarah Toche-Manley to the bottom left, but Green Terror goalkeeper Lauren Hoolahan denied the opportunity to tie the contest. Just minutes later, Mulka saved another shot by the home team, to keep the game within arm's reach.

Unfortunately for the Blue & White, McDaniel controlled much of the game and topped every major category with 10 total shots and eight corner kicks on the night.
