WEST CHESTER, Pa. – A number of Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's track & field athletes built on their strong debuts from a week ago at the Golden Ram Invitational hosted by West Chester on Saturday afternoon, April 3.

Alex White led the way, as the jumper recorded a top leap of 2.00m in the men's high jump; a mark strong enough to currently rank him tied for fourth in the country in the event. He added a 6.72m effort in the long jump to crack the top 40 in the nation (38th). Joseph Rebarchak III also broke into the top 40 in Division III in the javelin (t-39th) with a toss of 52.10m.  The thrower also set a new personal best in the shot put with an effort of 11.34m.

Elsewhere on the men's side, Ian Adams ran the second-quickest 1,500m time in program history behind a 4:26.55, while Jackson Yanich won the 100m dash with a time of 11.47 seconds and took the top spot in the 200m dash thanks to a 23.07-second jaunt. And while not quite the record-breaking performance he turned in a week ago, Andrew Bomberger still earned a share of first place in the pole vault with an effort of 3.97m.

A couple of women's competitors also had memorable afternoons building on their opening-weekend efforts. Alexandria Morrison broke into the program's top-3 all-time in the women's 1,500m run thanks to her time of 5:50.93 and Kyli Moon-Rumsey tied former standout Sarah Lehman for third all-time in the high jump with a top leap of 1.37m.

After two strong outings in as many weeks, the Blue & White will look to keep things rolling when they travel north to Keystone for their next meet on Friday afternoon, April 9.
