Men's Track & Field Breaks Into USTFCCCA National Rating Index

NEW ORLEANS – Penn State Harrisburg's men's track & field team has cracked the final U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index of the season.

The Lions entered the rankings at No. 23, with the final USTFCCCA National Rating Index taking into account just those marks from student-athletes who qualified for the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Blue & White are the only Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) program included in the most-recent rankings, with Penn State Harrisburg climbing 14 spots in this week's rating.

USTFCCCA Mideast Regional Field Athlete of the Year Cameron Yon will join CAC Men's Co-Athlete of the Year Jalil Clayton and Alex White at the NCAA Championships this weekend, with Yon throwing the discus, Clayton taking part in the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles, and White competing in the long jump.

On the women's side, Rae Rae Taylor will compete in the heptathlon, while Sarah Lehman will be in action in the triple jump at this weekend's NCAA Championships.
