LEWISBURG, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's track & field teams finished off their weekends at Bucknell's Bison Open and Multi with a number of notable performances on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 26.

Season bests abounded, with Sarah Lehman, Cameron Yon and Aiyala McPhee among those who turned in their top efforts of the winter in their events of choice. Lehman was especially impressive in the triple jump. The sophomore posted a top leap of 11.44 meters and as the runner-up, was the highest finishing Division III competitor. Her mark currently ranks sixth in the nation. She also secured a top-10 finish in the long jump thanks to a bound of 5.29 meters.

Yon recorded his best toss of the year in the weight throw at 16.88 meters; good enough to top his previous program record set earlier this winter and earn him the second-best finish among Division III competitors. The senior tacked on another top-10 finish in the shot put thanks to a throw of 14.32 meters.

McPhee improved on her 60m dash time from earlier this season to secure second place in the program record book. The freshman's sprint of 8.24 clinched a 12th-place finish, good enough to rank third best among Division III runners in a field of 40 competitors.

A pair of Lions were also strong in the 400m dash, with Jalil Clayton and Dominick Hogans each clinching positions within the top 10. A day after showing out in the 60m hurdles and 200m dash, Clayton added a fourth-place finish with a time of 51.27, while Hogans' effort of 51.90 was good enough to secure 10th in a field of 39 sprinters.

Alex White outlasted a number of Division I and Division II opponents in winning the high jump by clearing a mark of 1.94 meters. The jumper wrapped up his day with a top-10 result in the long jump after posting a mark of 6.28 meters.

Elsewhere, while Mekael Kassu worked the men's 800m run, Sephora Senestant competed in the women's 500m run, Neeyah Turner represented the Blue & White in the women's 400m dash and both Rachale Hair and Jamilyn Nimo were in action in the women's weight throw.

Penn State Harrisburg will look to keep its recent momentum rolling when the program travels to Susquehanna for the SU Challenge on Saturday, Feb. 2.
