Martin, Africa Lead the Way at United East Fall Preview

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team took part in the United East Championship Fall Preview at Hanover Country Club on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 27.

 

The Lions finished fourth out of seven competing teams behind a combined score of +55 (339). Josh Africa and Ian Martin led the way for Penn State Harrisburg, with each carding identical scores of +8 (79); good enough to secure a share of sixth place overall. 

 

Matthew Redman posted a +10 (81) and earned a share of 10th place, while Tyler Sullivan rounded out the Penn State Harrisburg scoring contingency by carding a +29 (100). 

 

The Lions get the weekend off before returning to action at the Dickinson Invitational at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Club on Saturday morning, Oct. 8.
