Africa Finishes As Low Man at Marywood Tri-Match

TUNKHANNOCK, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team earned a runner-up finish during three-way action with Marywood and Clarks Summit at Stone Hedge Golf Course on Monday afternoon, Sept. 26. 

 

As a group, the Lions carded a +53 (337) to finish eight strokes off the combined score of the winners from Marywood. Individually, Josh Africa turned in a strong effort, finishing as the low man thanks to his score of +6 (71).

 

Reigning United East Men's Golfer of the Week Matthew Redman secured a share of third-place overall behind his +10 (81), while Ian Martin finished seventh thanks to a +15 (86). Tyler Sullivan rounded out the Penn State Harrisburg contingency with a +22 (93). 

 

The Lions will get right back to it when they compete at the United East Championship Preview at Hanover Country Club in Abbottstown, Pa. on Tuesday afternoon.
