Men's Golf Wraps Up Fall With Team Title at Rutgers-Camden

WILLINGBORO, N.J. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2021-22 schedule by winning the team title at the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptor Fall Invitational at Rancocas Golf Club on Monday afternoon, Oct. 25.

As a group, the Lions combined to shoot a 328; a score was good enough to best seven other squads and capture the team title. Individually, the Blue & White were led by Matthew Redman. The sophomore carded a 79 to finish third out of 42 total competitors.

Josh Swartz shot an 82, while teammates Sean Cudahy and Joshua Africa finished right behind him thanks to scores of 83 and 84, respectively. Andrew Fink completed the group of Penn State Harrisburg golfers, carding a 90.

William Patterson's Jack Maloney won the individual championship thanks to a score of 75. The Lions bested the team runners-up from Rosemont by five strokes.

With the fall season in the books for Penn State Harrisburg, the Lions are set to return to action for spring competition in March 2022.
