Fink, Redman Earn All-Conference Honors at NEAC Championships

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg men's golf wrapped up its 2021 campaign by hosting the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championships at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course over the weekend. After finding themselves in a tie for second entering Sunday's final round, the emerged with a third-overall finish.

 

Penn College made a late move during round two and won its first-ever conference championship. PCT's Kohltin Bartlow and Penn State Berks' Drew Morris finished as co-individual champions and secured NEAC Co-Player of the Year honors. Penn College's Matt Haile was named NEAC Coach of the Year and Rutgers-Camden's Patrick DeMareo earned NEAC Rookie of the Year recognition.

 

Andrew Fink finished tied for fourth and secured NEAC All-Conference First-Team honors thanks to his two-day total of 156 (+12). Matthew Redman capped his rookie season by finishing tied for ninth and earning NEAC Second-Team All-Conference recognition after carding a two-day 159 (+15).

 

Ian Martin and Joshua Africa just missed out on top-10 finishes, with Martin's two-day 162 (+18) good enough to secure 13th place and Africa's 163 (+19) over two days strong enough to earn him a 14th-place finish. Josh Swartz rounded out the Blue & White group of competitors with a two day total of 170 (+26), a mark solid enough to secure an 18th-place finish.
