Men's Golf Earns Share of Fourth Place at Mount Aloysius

CRESSON, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team wrapped up the weekend by competing at the Mount Aloysius Invitational at the Summit Country Club on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 22.

 

As a team, the Lions earned a share of fourth place out of 12 total teams. The four players who made up the Blue & White scoring contingency each shot within three strokes of each other to tally a total score of 332.

 

Leading the way for Penn State Harrisburg was Luke Ehler and Josh Swartz. Both players shot an 82 on Sunday; a mark good enough to earn them a share of 22nd place out of nearly 60 competitors. Right behind them was teammate Andrew Fink with an 83 (T-26th place), while Montana Gleason carded an 85 (T-33rd place). Tyler Mallon rounded out the team's golfers by earning a share of 55th-place.

 

The Lions will play their third round in as many days when they take part in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship Preview at the Williamsport Country Club on Monday afternoon, Sept. 23.
