WILMINGTON, Del. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team continued its solid start to the 2019-20 campaign by posting a 10th-place finish out of 20 competing  programs at the Frederick W. Anton III Memorial Invitational hosted by Swarthmore at the Rock Manor Golf Club on Sunday afternoon.

The Lions scoring contingency combined to shoot a 320, +36; a two-shot improvement on the squad's total in the season opener at the Spartan Invitational hosted by York (Pa.) last weekend.

"It was a good performance from the guys again," said Penn State Harrisburg head coach Jason Badecki. "We had a great first nine but didn't finish off the round the way we'd like. We are still building but we've got some great momentum moving forward."

Josh Swartz led the way for the Blue & White, shooting a 78, +7. His score was a new career low and earned him a share of 25th place out of 90 competing golfers.

His teammates followed closely behind him, with Chad Yoder posting an 80, +9 that secured him a share of 35th-place, while Andrew Fink and Luke Ehler each finished tied for 41st thanks to shooting an 81, +10. Montana Gleason rounded out the Penn State Harrisburg competitors with a 91, +20.

The Lions will return to action on day one of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic at Sinking Valley Country Club in Altoona, Pa. on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 21.
