Massar Leads for the Nittany Lions

Lancaster, Pa.- On Monday October 19th the Penn State Harrisburg men's golf team participated in the 2015 Franklin and Marshall Fall Invitational. The tournament took place in Lancaster at the Bent Creek Country Club. Overall, the men placed eighth out of nineteen total teams.

 Senior Tyler Massar (Lebanon, Pa. / Cedar Crest) led for the Nittany Lion's at 5 over par. Massar tied with three other golfers for seventeenth place. Close behind him was Tyler Shank (Palmyra, Pa. / Palmyra Area) who tied for nineteenth place at 6 over par. Sophomore Keith Miller (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Thomas Jefferson) finished the tournament only one stroke behind Shank at (+7) and in twenty-ninth place. 

The Franklin and Marshall Invitational was the last tournament for the men's fall season. They had a very successful season that included breaking a school record during the Tom Kreider Memorial Tournament in the beginning of the year. The men will return to play in the Spring.
