Long and Serres Finish on Top for Harrisburg

The Penn State Harrisburg men's golf team took their longest trip of the year to play in the Camp Lejuene Invational in North Carolina. The three day tournament took place Friday through Sunday March 28th-30th. Jason Long and Tyler Serres finished tied for the team's top spot which was good enough for a 39th place overall finish in the top tier tournament.

Overall as a team the Penn State Harrisburg Lions finished 12th place in the standings with a total score of 641.  The top team scores were by Nebraska Wesleyan University with 600 points overall and USC-Lancaster with a 601 score.

In the player standing two of Harrisburg's athletes finished in the top 50 of the tournament. Jason Long (Rockhill Furnace, Pa. / Southern Huntingdon County) and Tyler Serres (Camp Hill, Pa. / Trinity) both tied for 39th place with a score of 158.  The top scores in the player standings were 142 and 143 for the weekend.

On April 8th the Blue and White will compete in the Alvernia Spring Invitational at Roanoke Country Club.
