MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's basketball team won its ninth game in a row and 20th overall by a score of 72-57 over United East foe Penn State Abington at the Capital Union Building on Wednesday night, Feb. 7.

Reigning United East Offensive Player of the Week Donyae Baylor-Carroll poured in a game-high 31 points to match this season's highwater mark and added six steals and six assists. Nate Curry and Isaiah Milien were the team's other players to reach double figures with 11 points each.

After the visiting Lions (8-15, 1-9 United East) converted a layup to cut the deficit to 14-11 midway through the first half, Penn State Harrisburg (20-3, 10-0 United East) surrendered just two buckets over the final 9:45 and used a 26-4 spurt to take a 40-15 lead into halftime.

Penn State Abington scored the first nine points out of the break to pull to within 16 early in the second half but back-to-back jumpers from Baylor-Carroll halted the visitors' momentum. A Curry layup off a feed from Milien pushed the advantage to 48-29 at the 15:12 mark but Abington crawled back to within 13 following a pair of free throws with 8:10 left to play.

Baylor-Carroll again ended the push, however, burying his fourth 3-ball of the night with 7:47 left before Lance Douglas followed it up with a driving layup on the team's next possession. The visitors made one last push to cut the deficit to 13 with 5:36 remaining but consecutive layups from Curry and Alex Leiba and another Baylor-Carroll jump shot put things out of reach in the final minutes.
