MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Donyae Baylor-Carroll became the program's all-time scoring leader, while Alex Leiba and Nate Curry each recorded double-doubles in Penn State Harrisburg's 99-56 victory over United East foe Penn State Berks at the Capital Union Building on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 6.

Baylor-Carroll recorded a game-high 20 points and six steals, breaking the all-time scoring record in the process with 1,716 career points and counting. Leiba matched a game-high 20 points and 14 rebounds, while Curry netted grabbed a game-best 14 boards to go along with 14 points. Dylan Moore flirted with a double-double, finishing with 17 points and eight rebounds, and Lance Douglas was the fifth player to reach double figures with 13 points.

With the game well in hand as the second half wound down, Baylor-Carroll put the finishing touches on his memorable outing by converting a spinning layup through contact with 5:45 left to play. The bucket proved the record breaker and he added a free throw to complete the old-fashioned 3-point play for good measure.

Penn State Harrisburg (13-3, 3-0 United East) jumped out to a 14-3 lead to begin the game thanks to layups from Leiba and Curry before Baylor-Carroll and Douglas connected on jumpers from beyond the arc.

Moore made his presence felt midway through the opening half with four straight points to stretch the advantage to 24-8 at the 12:06 mark. Isaiah Milien hit a jumper in the lane to make it 34-15 with 8:45 left before the break and the lead ballooned to 20 for the first time with a Leiba layup off a Douglas feed with little more than three minutes remaining in the opening half. Baylor-Carroll hit another 3-ball, Curry converted a layup off an offensive board, and Douglas added a free throw to make it 56-33 heading to the locker room.

It was more of the same after the break, with Baylor-Carroll finding Leiba for a two-handed jam before the big man added a layup the next time down to push the lead past 30 for the first time with 17:39 remaining. The Penn State Harrisburg defense limited Penn State Berks (2-11, 1-2 United East) to just 11 points through the first 10 and a half minutes of the second half and a Leiba offensive rebound and put back with 6:31 stretched the advantage to 40 for the first time.
