MORRISVILLE, N.Y. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's basketball team built a sizable second-half lead and held off a late charge with a couple of clutch buckets in a 76-66 road victory over conference foe Morrisville on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 4.

Isaiah Eggleston scored a game-high 22 points, while Zegary Scott III finished with a dozen points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Malik Holland was the third player to reach double digits with 11 points.

After Penn State Harrisburg (11-10, 8-4 United East) led by as many as 18 points with 8:58 left in the second half, the Mustangs (10-11, 6-6 United East) chipped away over the ensuing five and a half minutes and eventually drew to within one at 65-64 with 3:03 remaining.

On the Lions' next possession, however, Chase Robinson halted the home team's momentum by banging a 3-ball with a hand in his face to extend the lead to four at the 2:44 mark. Robinson followed it up by swiping a steal and finding an open Nate Curry in transition for the dagger from beyond the arc with 1:41 left to play.

Morrisville tried to answer on the other end but came away empty and following a technical foul, Scott converted three straight free throws to push the lead back to 10 and put the game on ice with little more than a minute remaining.

The Lions led by nine at halftime and after the home team cut the deficit to 36-30, Penn State Harrisburg made its largest push of the afternoon, putting together a game-changing 12-2 run capped by a Holland jumper with 15:47 left to play.

After a back-and-forth start to the contest, the visitors took control thanks to a 9-0 spurt punctuated by five straight points from Eggleston midway through the first half. Leading 21-12 at the 7:35 mark, the Lions held the margin heading into the break.
