SCRANTON, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's basketball team was no match for undefeated Scranton's red-hot shooting from beyond the arc in an 83-57 road setback on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 10.

Nate Curry led the way with a team-high 18 points and seven rebounds. Isaiah Eggleston netted 15 points off the bench, while Zegary Scott III was the third player to reach the double-digit scoring mark with 10 points.

In a game in which the Lions (4-4) connected on just two attempts from 3-point range and the Royals (8-0) shot 64 percent from distance, Penn State Harrisburg fell behind in the early going and was never able to catch up.

Scranton opened the contest with a 15-4 spurt and took advantage of a Penn State Harrisburg shooting slump that saw the visitors fail to convert a field goal for nearly four minutes of game time late in the first half by stretching the advantage to 42-24 heading into the locker room.

The pattern continued after the break, with the home team consistently hitting timely 3-balls and the Lions struggling to find points for minutes on end, allowing for the Royals to keep the visitors at bay before pulling away for good by the midway point of the second half.

NOTABLES

- The Lions went 2-for-19 (10.5 percent) from 3-point range, while Scranton shot a white hot 64 percent from distance (16-for-25).

- Penn State Harrisburg shot 37.5 percent from the field, while the Royals shot 52.6 percent from the floor.
