BALLSTON SPA, NY - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announces student-athlete of the week selection for week ending Sunday, November 16, 2008 in the sport of men´s basketball.
Kenton Alston (Steelton Highspire, PA/Steel High) was selected as the NEAC Men´s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week. Alston, a 6´3" freshman forward for the Penn State Harrisburg Nittany Lions, was selected for his outstanding offensive performance for the week leading his team to a 1-0 week. Alston finished the week with 20 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 blocks, 4-for-6 from the free throw line and a .400 shooting percentage. He added a game sealing block in the 91-87 OT win against NEAC rival Wells.
