Druck Earns Conference Pitcher of the Week Honors

LATHAM, N.Y. - Thanks to his efforts in a victory over the weekend, Penn State Harrisburg's Fisher Druck has been named the United East Volt Division Pitcher of the Week.

 

Druck joins teammates Josh Berzonski (3/4) and Brendan Henn (2/26) as Penn State Harrisburg players to earn the conference's weekly awards this season.

 

Druck turned in a strong start against No. 11 Christopher Newport in the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon. The sophomore earned his first win of the spring, throwing five shutout innings and allowing just two hits and three walks to go along with three strikeouts in the team's 8-2 victory in the opener. 

 

The Lions (6-5) host Moravian for a non-conference tilt on Wednesday afternoon.
