LATHAM, N.Y. – Thanks to his dazzling collegiate debut over the weekend, Penn State Harrisburg baseball's Danny Eden has been named the United East Pitcher of the Week.

 

During Penn State Harrisburg's first victory of the season, Eden was electric in helping the Lions earn a 16-7 win over Ferrum on Saturday evening, Feb. 26. The Morgantown, Pa. native struck out nine batters and did not surrender a single hit in 3.1 innings of relief work. The appearance was the first of his collegiate career.  

 

The Lions return to action when they travel to Baltimore, Md. to take on No. 4 Johns Hopkins.
