Lions Ranked No. 24 In Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Preseason Poll

TUCSON, Ariz. – Penn State Harrisburg is ranked No. 24 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's 2020 Preseason NCAA Division III Poll. It is the program's first-ever preseason national ranking.

 

The Blue & White earned 220 total points in the organization's preseason rankings to secure a top-25 position. The Lions are coming off an historic season that saw them earn a berth in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament after winning a program-record 33 games. Returning this season is all-American Bret Williams, all-region honoree Travis Van Houten and all-conference pick Zach Gettys, along with a number of starters including Chase Smith, Ryan McSorley, Zak Koroneos, Tyler Aug, Casey Winters and Michael De Leon, among others.

The Lions open their 2020 campaign at Randolph-Macon on Friday afternoon, Feb. 21.
