Student-Athletes of the Week: January 31, 2018

Jalil Clayton - Men's Track and Field
Track and Field's Jalil Clayton is recognized as the Men's Student-Athlete of the Week. At the Bison Open held at Bucknell University over the weekend, Jalil broke three school records en route to winning all three events.

Jalil's school records in the 60 Meter Hurdles, 200 and 400 Meter events rank him 1st in the Capital Athletic Conference. He is also ranked 10th, 18th and 32nd in the NCAA in those events, respectively.

Tessa Dolce - Women's Basketball
Women's Basketball Tessa Dolce has been named Women's Student-Athlete of the Week. Tessa had a career defining performance on the road versus Wesley last Wednesday night. She posted a career high 28 points. That mark is not only her career high, but the highest mark on the team thus far. She also added 14 rebounds which has now placed her 9th all time in school history in career rebounds with 138.

Tessa is among the conference leaders this season where she is 3rd in the Capital Athletic Conference in Free Throws Made (64), 4th in Rebounds Per Game (9.1) and Total Rebounds (154).
