LATHAM, N.Y. - After her strong performance at Lancaster Bible on Friday afternoon, Penn State Harrisburg's Tatyana Gibson has been named the United East Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
In the women's 6K race at Lancaster Bible's Charger Invitational on Friday afternoon, Gibson finished third out of 41 total runners thanks to her effort of 26:39.60. The sophomore was the highest-finishing United East and Penn State Harrisburg competitor at the event.
The Lions return to action at the Penn State Abington Invitational in Huntingdon Valley, Pa. next Saturday morning, Sept. 24.
