As the Penn State Harrisburg's Cross Country season comes to a close, the Blue and White men and women's teams fought to the finish in their last meet of the season at Big Springs High School in Newville, Pa. Saturday, Nov. 15th in the NCAA Mid East Regional Championship. Ten Lions competed at the 2014 NCAA Mid East Region Championships. The men's team posted 1158 points finishing 40th of 47 teams, while three ladies ran as individuals.

Sophomore Rachel Seachrist (Allentown, Pa. / Salisbury) has been a bright spot for the lady lions cross country team this entire season. Seachrist lead Harrisburg again Friday in their home meet finishing a team high 11th place. The blue and white finished fourth and defeated their first team of the season.
The Penn State Harrisburg women's cross country team struggled at the Messiah Invitational Saturday September 27th finishing 9th out of the nine teams participating. Fortunately, Laura Hernandez was able to bring something positive finishing on top for the Lions.

The Penn State Harrisburg women's cross country competed as individuals at the York Invitational Saturday September 13th. The Lions were missing top runner Rachel Sechrist, but the newcomers to the team stepped up and took advantage of the opportunity.
Harrisburg gets back in action starting the season off at the Lebanon Valley Inviational. Rachel Sechrist took the top spot for the Lions with her 59th place finish.
