Lehman Triple Jumps on Final Day of NCAA Championships

GENEVA, OhioSarah Lehman wrapped up Penn State Harrisburg's three days at the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships when she took part in the women's triple jump at the SPIRE Institute on Saturday afternoon, May 25.

 

Lehman was in action in the first flight of the triple jump and posted a top bound of 11.65 meters. The sophomore's effort was good enough to earn her a 15th-place finish in the event, improving her seed coming into the NCAA Championships by five positions.

 

The 2019 campaign Is now complete for the Lions. Jalil Clayton joined Lehman in earning top-15 finishes in the men's 110m hurdles and men's 400m hurdles, while Alex White secured a top-10 finish in the men's long jump. Rae Rae Taylor secured all-America honors with a seventh-place finish in the women's heptathlon and Cameron Yon clinched Penn State Harrisburg's first-ever national championship when he won the men's discus throw.
