KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's Rae Rae Taylor turned in a stellar performance in the heptathlon at Kutztown's Mondschein Multi on Thursday afternoon, April 12.

The sophomore racked up 4,550 total points in the event; a number good enough to top all competing NCAA Division III athletes and a mark currently strong enough to rank her seventh in the nation in the heptathlon.

Taylor posted a runner-up finish in the 200m dash and finished third in the shot put, long jump, javelin throw and 800m run. She also added top-five finishes in the 100m hurdles and high jump events.

The Lions return to action at the Shippensburg Invitational on Wednesday afternoon, April 17.
