Cooper Wins Inaugural Penn State Harrisburg Women's Invitational

Harrisburg, Pa- Allison Cooper won Penn State Harrisburg's Womens Invitational posting a two day total of 159 (+17). Cooper posted a score of 80 on day one and held a one stroke lead. All of the golfers were challenged by the 5,800 yard course, but Cooper rose to the challange and posted a score of 79 on day two, winning the tournament by two strokes over Franklin & Marshall's Anelise Browne. The two were paired together throughout the tournament. Gettysburg won the team portion of the tournmaent posting a team score of 730 (+162). Dominique Emmett finished here first career round on day two of the tournament.  

Coach Jackson said, "All 5800 yard layouts are not equal! I commend all the young ladies who competed this weekend on a difficult and long golf course. Allison's continued good play is a testiment of her hardwork earning her 2nd individual championship of the fall."
