The Lions best chance to score came in the fourth inning. Nina Bruno drew a walk, and then stole second base to put herself in scoring position. Hartman would move Bruno over to third base, but the Lions could not bring her home.

The Bobcats would score in the top of the sixth inning to take a 1-0 lead. The Lions would get the tying run on first base in the seventh inning, but could not score her.
