Coach Dengler Claims 100th Win

The Penn State Harrisburg softball team had a successful Spring Break trip, winning six of eight games to return home with a 6-2 record.  Harrisburg showed extremely well scoring 53 runs and giving up just seven, finishing the trip on a four game win streak.   Separate of the Lions great start, Coach Tonya Dengler hit a special milestone of her own, claiming her 100th win in their 8-0 contest over Lehman College on Tuesday March 7th.

Coach Dengler has been the Head Coach of the Lions since 2007 and is in her eleventh season.  She has had many succesful campains in her time with the program, leading the program to three post season trips, multitude of conference all-stars and helped develop Gabby Wolfe to become the first softball player in school history to be named to the CAC first team.

Hopefully Coach Dengler can continue to build up the program that she has put so much time, effort and heart into.  Penn State Harrisburg is lucky to have such a dedicated coach leading the women's softball program.
