As the Penn State Harrisburg's Cross Country season comes to a close, the Blue and White men and women's teams fought to the finish in their last meet of the season at Big Springs High School in Newville, Pa. Saturday, Nov. 15th in the NCAA Mid East Regional Championship. Ten Lions competed at the 2014 NCAA Mid East Region Championships. The men's team posted 1158 points finishing 40th of 47 teams, while three ladies ran as individuals.
Penn State Harrisburg finished in the middle of the pack at the Lancaster Invitational. The Women’s cross country team finished 5th of 6 teams and the men finished 4th of 6 teams.
The Penn State Harrisburg men's cross country team pulled off a third place finish in Friday's home match at Serb Park in Hershey on Friday. The lions merely took second but was beat out in a close finish with Penn State Berks.
Penn State Harrisburg Men's Cross Country finishes eighth out of eleven in the Lebanon Valley Cross Country Invitational. Nick Sturm led the way for the lions finishing 23rd overall.
