COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's indoor track & field teams were in action at the Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 3, with the usual suspects performing well at the event hosted by Ursinus College.

For the women, Leah Gray had another stellar outing as she was the top Division III finisher in the 60m, coming home second in the event with a sub-eight second effort. The sprinter also came home sixth in a field of 60 competitors in the 200m. Makayla Grace Weber turned in one of her best performances of the season in the 60m hurdles, securing a third-place finish in the event after posting a 10.67-second effort in prelims.

A handful of other athletes in Steph Reider, Katrin Cavanaugh, and Lauren Hess also earned top-10 finishes. Reider finished fourth in the weight throw and 10th in the shot put, while Cavanaugh matched her PR of 2.90 meters in the pole vault to secure fourth place. Hess made her track & field debut by finishing sixth in the triple jump with a top leap of 9.57 meters.

On the men's side, Paul Netland III was strong in the 60m hurdles, finishing fourth thanks to a season-best 8.69-second mark in the event. Tony Pelino set a new PR in the pole vault with an effort of 3.95 meters; a number good enough to secure him a fifth-place finish. A pair of throwers in Oluwa Kinti (fourth) and Angad Bhullar (fifth) earned top-five finishes in the shot put, while Isaac Whitson finished fifth in the triple jump. Comlan Greg Acoliste came home fourth in the weight throw with a top toss of 14.44 meters, while fellow throwers Steven Benavides (WT) and Caleb Kendig (SP) also earned top-10 finishes.

The Lions will compete at next weekend's Division III Indoor Track & Field Pre-National Meet in Western Valley, Va. beginning Friday, Feb. 8.
