MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – A number of Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's track & field athletes turned in impressive efforts at the 37th Millersville Metrics held at Biemsderfer Stadium on Saturday, April 6.

Thrower Cameron Yon was stout in his bread and butter event for the second week in a row, as the senior won the discus throw in dominant fashion. His best toss of 54.14 meters was good enough to earn him the top spot by more than five meters.

Fellow senior Jalil Clayton earned a pair of victories in the hurdle events, posting new season-best marks of 14.68 seconds in the 110m hurdles before running a time of 54.54 seconds to win the 400m hurdles by nearly .7 seconds.

Dominick Hogans brought his A-game on Saturday, winning the 200m dash with a scamper of 22.29 seconds to best 67 other competitors in the process. He was also the highest-finishing Division III athlete in the 100m dash (third overall) and 400m dash, thanks to his times of 11.26 seconds and 50.62 seconds, respectively.

In the field, Alex White came away with a runner-up finish in the high jump thanks to a top leap of 1.93 meters, while teammate Rodeo Thompson finished fourth in the event. Andrew Bomberger set a new program record in the pole vault and his bound of 4.15 meters made him the highest-finishing Division III competitor in the event (third overall).

Rae Rae Taylor led the way on the women's side, setting a new program record in the 200m dash with a time of 26.26 seconds. The sophomore also earned a top-five finish in the high jump with a leap of 1.58 meters and was the highest-finishing Division III athlete in the long jump.

Fellow jumper Sarah Lehman earned a runner-up finish in the triple jump after bounding 11.14 meters. The sophomore was also the second-highest Division III finisher in the long jump. Lehman joined Taylor, Neeyah Turner and Sephora Senestant to earn a fifth-place finish in the 4x100 meter relay as well.
