Penn State Harrisburg Men's Track and Field Place Second at Millersville Metrics

Millersville, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's outdoor track and field teams travled to Millersville University on Saturday April 1st for the 34th Annual Millersville Metrics. The men's team finished second overall with several members claiming first place finishes and personal records. The women's side finished in 20th place also with several personal bests.

Men's Top Finishes:

Jalil Clayton: Clayton earned two first place finishes in the men's 110-meter hurdles and the men's 400 meter hurdles. Clayton posted impressive times in each event with 15.52 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles and 56.80 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles. 

Alexander White: White posted three top ten finishes in Saturday's events. In the men's high jump White placed first with a jump of 2.00 meters. In the long jump he placed 6th with a distance of 6.12 meters and 7th in the triple jump at 12.43 meters 

Cameron Yon: Yon also posted a first place finish in the men's discus throw with a distance of 47.47 meters and 6th in the hammer throw at 40.76 meters

Josiah Owhe: Owhe posted two fourth place finishes in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 11.33 seconds and in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.34 meters

Vladhimir Theophile: In the men's 200-meter dash Theophile placed 13th overall with a time of 23.67 seconds

Xavier Smith: Smith placed 15th in the men's 400-meter dash with a time of 52.33 seconds

Joseph Rebarchak: In the men's javelin, Rebarchak placed 13th with a throw of 50.12 meters

Daniel Parker: Parker placed 14th in the men's javelin with a distance of 50.12 meters

The men's relay team made up by Owhe, Clayton, Smith, and Theophile placed 5th in the men's 4x100 relay with a time of 43.90 seconds

Women's Top Finishes:

Rachale Hair: Hair placed 19th in the women's javelin throw with a distance of 30.07 meters 

Veronica Repetz: In the women's 1500 meter run Repetz finished in 27th with a time of 5:33.48

Logan Akers: Akers placed third in the women's 10,000 meter run with a time of 43:21.78
