Clayton and Williams Receive All-Region Honors

Jalil Clayton (Chester, PA / Chester High School) and Ashley Williams (Easton, PA / Easton Area High School) were named NCAA Division III All-Region Honorees for the 2016 indoor track and field season. The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) honors those who have placed in the top- 5 of their individual events during the indoor track and field season.

Clayton became the first Penn State Harrisburg male to win an Individual CAC championship. After winning at CAC's, in the high jump, he finished his season off with an 11th place finish at the ECAC Indoor finish with a Jump of 6'4".

Williams was Penn State Harrisburg's first female to win a CAC Individual championship with her win in the 60 meter hurdles. After her win at CAC's she also finished her indoor season off at the ECAC Indoor Championships finishing 3rd in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.04 seconds.

With the Indoor season wrapping up both, Clayton and Williams, will look ahead to next Saturday March 19th when Penn State Harrisburg opens their outdoor season when the teams travel to Elizabethtown.
