Baylor-Carroll Tabbed Conference Offensive Player of the Week

LATHAM, N.Y. – Thanks to his efforts in a victory last week, Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball player Donyae Baylor-Carroll has been named the United East Volt Division Offensive Player of the Week.

 

The latest accolade is Baylor-Carroll's sixth conference weekly award of the season. He earned a pair of defensive player of the week honors in November before adding an offensive player of the week plaudit in December. He also swept the league's weekly awards in early January.

 

In a 17-point road win over Gallaudet on Tuesday night, the senior recorded his first double-double of the season when he netted 19 points on 54.5 percent shooting from the floor (6-of-11) and 50 percent shooting from 3-point range (5-for-10) to go along with a career-high 11 assists and three rebounds. On the defensive end, the Harrisburg, Pa. native plucked three steals and added a block.

 

Winners of eight in a row, the Lions (19-3, 9-0 United East) host Penn State Abington for another conference tilt at the Capital Union Building on Wednesday night.
