MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball player Nate Curry has earned all-region recognition from D3hoops.com.

Curry was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 4 Seccond Team. He is just the second player in program history to secure all-region honors of any kind, joining former standout and teammate Donyae Baylor-Carroll in achieving the feat.

Curry's most-recent accolade comes after he was named to the United East All-Conference First Team earlier this winter. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native turned in a stellar senior campaign, averaging a team-high 15.4 points per game on a stout 48.4 percent shooting from the field and 40.6 percent shooting from beyond the arc. The versatile guard also grabbed a team-best 8.4 rebounds per contest to go along with 2.4 assists and 1.3 steals per outing. The team captain recorded eight double-doubles on the year and recently became just the seventh player in the program's NCAA era to score 1,000 career points. He currently sits fifth all-time on the program's scoring list with 1,154 points and is one of just two players in Penn State Harrisburg history to record 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds. Curry also earned a pair of United East Player of the Week honors earlier this season (1/23, 1/30).
