MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's basketball team grinded out a 70-62 conference victory over United East foe Penn College at the Capital Union Building on Tuesday night, Feb. 14.

Nate Curry led the way with a monster 11-point, 18-rebound double-double, while Chase Robinson netted a team-high 12 points. Lance Douglas and Isaiah Eggleston added 10 points apiece. Zegary Scott III flirted with a double-double, finishing with eight points and eight rebounds.

The Wildcats (9-15, 4-11 United East) got out to an early 7-3 lead before the Lions (14-10, 11-4 United East) pulled ahead for the first time following a Curry layup at the 14:11 mark. Penn College led 18-14 after a pair of free throws with 6:57 left before halftime but Penn State Harrisburg closed out the half with an 18-9 run capped by an Eggleston 3-ball and a pair Isaiah Milien foul shots.

The visitors cut the deficit to one early in the second half but the Lions answered with an 8-0 run that included back-to-back layups by Robinson. An Alex Leiba offensive rebound and putback stretched the lead to double digits for the first time with 13:36 left to play but the Wildcats clawed back to within five less than a minute later.

Penn State Harrisburg pushed the advantage back to 12 as late as the 7:22 mark but the visitors refused to go away and eventually drew to within 58-54 with 5:05 remaining. Curry ended a two-minute scoreless stretch with a jumper at the 2:54 mark and Robinson gave the home team some breathing room with a driving layup that made it 62-54 with 2:09 left.

Penn College cut the deficit in half with 1:24 remaining but a nifty layup by Chris Haynes in the paint with 52 ticks left effectively put things out of reach.
