Curry Earns Second Straight United East POTW Honor

LATHAM, N.Y. – For the second consecutive week, Penn State Harrisburg's Nate Curry has been named the United East Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

 

Curry recorded a pair of double-doubles in two games last week to increase his total to six on the season. In a victory at Penn State Berks on Tuesday night, the senior netted a game-high 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting to go along with 10 rebounds. The guard followed it up with 20 points and a game-high 14 boards in a setback against the conference leaders from Lancaster Bible on Saturday afternoon. For the week, the Brooklyn, N.Y. native averaged 21.5 points per game on 58 percent shooting from the field, 80 percent shooting from beyond the arc, and 100 percent shooting from the foul line to go along with 12 rebounds per contest.

 

The Lions return to action when they host conference foe St. Mary's (Md.) for United East action at the Capital Union Building on Tuesday night, Jan. 31.
