KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Thanks to their academic success during the 2021-22 campaign, Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball players Brandon Coleman, Nate Curry, Donald Friday Jr., and Pedro Rodriguez have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.

In order to earn selection to the NABC Honors Court, a program's individual players must carry a grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher during their junior or senior seasons.

Coleman was named to the United East All-Conference First Team after a stellar final season and earned a 3.38 cumulative GPA to secure the third NABC Honors Court accolade of his career. The versatile guard averaged 11.9 points per game on a team-best 43.7 percent shooting from 3-point range and 55 percent shooting from the floor. The York, Pa. native also averaged 4.5 rebounds, two assists, and 1.5 steals per contest. He netted a career-high 27 points in a midseason win at Wells and scored a game-high 12 points to go along with seven rebounds in an NCAA Tournament victory over No. 9 St. Joseph (Conn.).

Curry garnered United East All-Conference Second-Team honors following a strong junior campaign that saw him post a 3.45 cumulative GPA. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native averaged 13.4 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the field, 40.8 percent shooting from 3-point range, and an 80.3 percent clip from the foul line. He also averaged 7.7 rebounds, two assists, and 1.5 steals per contest to go along with eight double-doubles on the year. The physical guard was named the United East Championship Tournament MVP after averaging 25 points and eight rebounds in a pair of postseason victories, including a 25-point performance in the United East Championship Game.

Friday secured the second NABC Honors Court award of his career after appearing in 20 games during his junior campaign. The Annville, Pa. native provided depth at the point guard position off the bench and currently holds a 3.39 cumulative GPA. He scored a season-high four points in limited action during a midseason victory at Penn College in January.

Rodriguez reprised his role as the team's versatile sixth man this season, averaging seven points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.4 assists per game. The Allentown, Pa. native earned the second NABC Honors Court accolade of his career after graduating with a 3.34 cumulative GPA. The team's spark plug, Rodriguez matched a career-high 20 points and knocked down four 3-pointers in a win over Gallaudet in February, scored 11 points in the United East Championship Game, and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds to go along with eight points in the NCAA Tournament victory over No. 9 USJ.
