KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Thanks to their academic success during the 2019-20 campaign, Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball players Clinton Asalu and Brandon Coleman have been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.

In order to earn selection to the NABC Honors Court, a program's individual players must carry a grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher during their junior or senior seasons.

Asalu served as one of this year's team captains and helped lead the Lions to unprecedented success during his senior season. The Willingboro, N.J. native shored up the frontcourt, appearing in all 29 games and netting a career-high 11 points in a victory over Keuka in February. The mechanical engineering major was named Penn State Harrisburg's 2020 Co-Athletic Service Award Winner before graduating with a 3.2 cumulative GPA this spring.

Coleman was poised for a breakout junior campaign before injury cut short his season after just two games. The York, Pa. native erupted for a career-high 23 points on 66.7 percent shooting, eight assists and six rebounds in the season opener. The versatile guard was named to the Penn State Harrisburg Tip-Off Tournament All-Tournament Team for his efforts. A Finance major, he currently holds a 3.42 cumulative GPA.
