PHILADELPHIA – Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball players Donyae Baylor-Carroll and Nate Curry have been recognized with City of Basketball Love (CoBL) All-Area honors.

Baylor-Carroll was named to the CoBL All-Area Second Team, while Curry was included on the all-area fifth team. Curry also earned CoBL All-Rooke Team accolades.

Thanks to his outstanding play this season, Baylor-Carroll was named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Player of the Year after picking up first-team all-conference recognition. The sophomore currently ranks top-10 in the nation in both 3-point field goals and 3-point field goals per game. The Harrisburg, Pa. native averaged 18.1 points per game this season, a number good enough to rank him fifth among conference players. Among NEAC players, the versatile guard ranks third in assists and fifth in steals, as well as top-10 in free throws made, free throw percentage and 3-point percentage. Baylor-Carroll earned three NEAC Player of the Week awards this winter and was named the NEAC Tournament MVP after racking up 23 points, four assists, three steals and three rebounds in the conference championship game.

Curry, the NEAC Rookie of the Year and first-team all-conference honoree, burst onto the scene this season and is averaging 14.4 points and eight rebounds per game. The freshman is shooting 44.2 percent from beyond the arc; a number good enough to rank him third in the league. The guard's rebounding total puts him sixth among conference players and the Brooklyn, N.Y. native has recorded eight double-doubles this year.

The Lions (20-7) head south to take on No. 6 Johns Hopkins in the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament game on Friday evening, March 6. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
