MIDDLETOWN, PA - Penn State Harrisburg´s Steve Jones (Harrisburg, PA/Harrisburg) was selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 3rd, 2010 in men´s basketball.
Steve Jones, a freshman guard, was selected for his strong play in two conference victories, over Cazenovia College and Morrisville State. Jones finished with 46 points (23/game), 18 rebounds (9/game), 6 steals (3/game), 4 assists (2/game), while shooting .613 from the field, .429 (3-7) from behind the three-point line, and 100% (5-5) from the free-throw line during the week.
