MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's baseball team is receiving votes in the latest iterations of both Division III national rankings.

Coming off a three-game sweep of conference foe Penn State Berks over the weekend and riding a 12-game win streak, the Lions (16-5, 6-0 United East) received 42 votes in the latest ABCA Division III Coaches Poll, as well as eight votes in the latest D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll. According to D3baseball.com, Penn State Harrisburg has played the 34th-toughest schedule in the nation so far this season. The Lions are currently 4-4 against nationally-ranked opponents this spring.

Individually, three pitchers in Josh Berzonski (twice), Kyle Mahady (twice), and Fisher Druck have combined to earn five United East Volt Division Pitcher of the Week honors, while Brendan Henn was named the United East Volt Division Player of the Week in late February.

The Lions have a busy weekend on tap as they are set to travel to Scranton for a single game on Friday before facing Keystone in doubleheader action the following day. They return home to host Wilson on Sunday afternoon.
