MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - For the third time this season, Penn State Harrisburg's baseball team is receiving votes in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll.

Fresh off a victory over the nation's top-ranked team, the Lions (28-7) received 21 votes in the latest national poll. Penn State Harrisburg knocked off No. 1 Salisbury on Sunday afternoon after sweeping a three-game series at United East foe Wells over the weekend. The most-recent win is the program's fifth over a nationally-ranked opponent this season after also defeating Arcadia (twice), Randolph-Macon, and Rowan earlier this spring.

As a group, Penn State Harrisburg leads the nation in runs (369) and ranks top-10 in the country in a number of statistical categories, including hits (443), batting average (.367), scoring (10.9), slugging percentage (.556), walks (198), and on-base percentage (.459).

Individually, three players in Maddux Ryan (twice), Kevin Lehner, and Dallas Hite have earned United East Player of the Week honors, while three others in Hunter Merritt (twice), Danny Eden, and Fisher Druck have been named United East Pitcher of the Week. Lehner was also named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week earlier this month.

The Lions (28-7, 17-1 United East) head to Elizabethtown for their final non-conference contest of the regular season on Tuesday afternoon.
