LATHAM, N.Y. - For the second time this season, Penn State Harrisburg's Maddux Ryan has been named the United East Baseball Player of the Week.

It is the second conference weekly honor of the spring for Ryan after he also earned the accolade in early March.

In a win over Wells on Saturday afternoon, Ryan joined teammate Dallas Hite and former standout Bret Williams as the third player in program history to hit for the cycle, going 4-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double, a walk, seven RBI, and two runs scored. In a win over No. 1 Salisbury on the next day, the senior drove in the game's final run after he stole a base earlier in the contest. Across five games last week, the first baseman slashed .563/.632/1.000 with a 1.632 OPS. The team captain went yard twice, added two more extra-base hits, drove in 11 runs, scored six more, swiped four bags, and tallied 16 total bases.

The Lions (28-7, 17-1 United East) head to Elizabethtown for their final non-conference contest of the regular season on Tuesday afternoon.
