MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - For the second time this season, Penn State Harrisburg's baseball team is receiving votes in the latest D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll.

One of the hottest teams in the country, the Lions (22-5) received five votes in the latest national poll. Fresh off a victory over No. 17 Rowan on Tuesday afternoon, Penn State Harrisburg has won 15 games in a row - the longest such streak in NCAA Division III. The most-recent win is the team's fourth victory over a nationally-ranked team this season after defeating Arcadia (twice) and Randolph-Macon earlier this spring.

As a group, Penn State Harrisburg ranks top-10 in the nation in numerous statistical categories, including runs (300), hits (361), batting average (.366), on-base percentage (.459), and slugging percentage (.535). Individually, three players in Fisher Druck, Danny Eden, and Hunter Merritt (twice), have earned United East Pitcher of the Week honors, while three others in Dallas Hite, Kevin Lehner, and Maddux Ryan have been named United East Player of the Week. Lehner was also recently named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week.

The Lions return to action when they host United East foe Penn College for a weekend series beginning on Friday afternoon, April 14.
