Lehner Named to D3baseball.com National Team of the Week

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg baseball player Kevin Lehner has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week. 

 

Lehner is the program's first player to earn the national distinction since former standout Bret Williams achieved the honor in May of 2021.

 

The junior outfielder had a massive week at the plate, hitting a pair of home runs and adding a double in a win over Susquehanna on Tuesday afternoon before launching another blast in the final victory of the weekend over Gallaudet on Sunday. In four games last week, the Tyrone, Pa. native slashed .600/.667/1.333 with a stellar OPS of 2.000 and racked up 20 total bases, three home runs, two doubles, two walks, eight runs, and seven RBI. He was named the United East Player of the Week for his efforts.

 

The Lions (18-5, 9-0 United East) are riding an 11-game win streak and will head to St. Mary's (Md.) for a weekend series beginning on Friday afternoon, April 7.
