MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's baseball team is receiving votes in the latest D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll.

The Lions (5-2) received 13 votes in the latest national poll after putting together a strong start to the 2023 campaign. Penn State Harrisburg won both of its first two series, taking three of four from Ferrum in late February and following it up by winning two of three over nationally-ranked Arcadia over the weekend. Through seven outings, the Lions are averaging 13.7 runs per game with a team batting average of .366. Individually, four players in Dallas Hite, Hunter Merritt, Maddux Ryan, and Danny Eden have earned United East weekly award recognition so far this spring.

The schedule doesn't get any easier for Penn State Harrisburg as the team returns to action at No. 15 Randolph-Macon on Wednesday afternoon before traveling to Virginia Wesleyan on Thursday. The Lions finish out the spring break portion of their slate with a three-game series at No. 18 Christopher Newport on the weekend.
